Sculptra & HarmonyCa

Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable biostimulator made up of Poly L Lactic Acid (PLLA) that gradually induces collagen formation through a controlled inflammatory response, for firmer, fuller skin. Sculptra’s effects develop gradually due to the time needed for the body to stimulate collagen production. Sculptra renews the skin by improving the appearance of wrinkles for up to 25 months after the last treatment and one to three sessions might be needed to obtain the full effect.

HarmonyCa

HarmonyCa is a unique dermal filler treatment that combines the best of both worlds as it contains both the traditional Hyaluronic Acid (HA) that is found in most dermal fillers and the biostimulator Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA). The patient will see the immediate lifting affect of the HA and the long-lasting collagen stimulation that the CaHA achieves. Depending on the patient between 1 to 3 sessions are needed.

FAQ's

Biostimulator dermal fillers are different from traditional fillers. Instead of simply adding volume, they stimulate your body's natural collagen production. This leads to gradual improvement in wrinkles, folds, and overall skin quality.

Biostimulator fillers are versatile and can be used on many areas of the face, including cheeks, nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines (chin lines), temples, and lips. They can also be used on the hands, neck, and décolletage to improve signs of aging.

Results with Biostimulator fillers develop gradually over time and can last for 12-24 months, depending on the product and individual factors.

Compared to traditional fillers, Biostimulator fillers offer longer-lasting results, address the underlying cause of wrinkles (collagen loss), and may provide a more natural-looking improvement.

The procedure is typically performed in a doctor's office and involves injecting the filler into specific areas. Anesthetic cream may be used to minimize discomfort. There may be some swelling and bruising after the treatment, which usually resolves within a few days.

Downtime after Biostimulator fillers is minimal. You may experience some redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, but this typically subsides within a few days. Most people can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment.

Biostimulator fillers may be a good option for people looking for a long-lasting, natural-looking way to improve wrinkles, lines, and overall skin quality. However, it's essential to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to determine if they are suitable for you.
